Hello Everybody,

Will drop you a few lines again today while I have the chance. How are you wintering? There is about two inches of snow on the ground here and I think it is about twenty above or so most of the time. Anyway it isn’t near as cold as it isn’t (sic) in N.D. but would sure gladly change places. Looked rather unuseral (sp) to some kids a few days ago skating and having a good time out on the ice. (sic) Kind of takes a guy back to thoughts of the good old days when he was a kid. I sent you another forty dollars the first part of this month. Hope that Ray has gotten that letter telling him to take ten dollars for his birthday. I hope this finds all of you feeling okay for which I’m sure thankful. Yes, it is my sincere hope and prayer that this war may soon end.

Love,

Your son & brother,

Hank
